I have been eyeballing International Oddities Crystal Ball Bud for about a year now. Well, today is the day for the review, my tube of Crystal Ball Bud just arrived. It’s been about a year since I reviewed or even had any International Oddities bud around. So I was super excited to crack open the tube to find a light green, dark green, red haired fluffy crystallized ball of herbal goodness.
The aroma was very relaxing and mellow, not over powering. Very similar aroma to International Oddities Herbal O, yet very light.
I rolled up a joint of Crystal Ball Bud and fired it up. It burned very evenly and nice and slow. It was very smooth and tasty. I even could taste the Herbal O/Black Widow like taste as well, but still very light and not over powering. A very clean, relaxing, smooth, tasty experience.
In comparison to the other International Oddities Bud I have reviewed. I believe this one is my new favorite and now the top of my list. I would compare it to a cross between Herbal O, NE-146 and Black Widow. But yet, totally unique, very well balanced in aroma and taste. And by the way… don’t get caught with this one without the packaging, it looks like real kind buds!

Well, everyone has been raving about the Skyscraper Buds for some time. And I decided to see what the hype is all about. The Skyscraper buds have the look you want, that’s for sure… hairy crystally nuggets that look so real. The smoke from Skyscraper is unbelievably smooth and fresh as well. I can’t believe I am about to say this, but… I prefer Skyscraper over Krypto now. The flavor was excellent, smoke was smooth, nice and fresh buds as well. These buds are beautiful!I wish there was more to say, but really… all there is to say about this product is 2 thumbs up! Now back to another bowl of Skyscraper and Splice!
This finely ground soft pouch of spicy goodness topped off a bowl of Skyscraper Buds. Very spicy and flavorful. It can be smoked alone or added to a bowl of your favorite International Oddities buds. Adds wonderful flavorful and aromatic accents to a hooka session. When you want to spike your smoking session with a little spice… I recommend using Splice!
This particular item stuck out from the normal International Oddities products like a sore thumb, so I just had to try it. I bought a box of 20 mini herbal blunts. When I opened the box, I noticed that these were very similar to “cloves” or “bidis” that were very popular when I was living in Hollywood, CA. They were hand rolled in an herbal leaf, very spicy with a middle eastern flavor. If you like clove cigs and leaf wrapped smokes, then you will absolutely love this product. The nice thing is that it is 100% herbal, NON-TOBACCO. The aroma was very relaxing and similar to smoking cloves. I really enjoyed being able to kick back with a 100% herbal spicy treat. I was totally blown away by the packaging as well as the quality of the Anti-Gravity Herbal Mini Blunts! The quality of this product was an unexpected surprise! 5 stars all day long!
Well, it’s the weekend and I decided to swing by our local shop to see what International Oddities products they had in stock. Turns out they sold out of everything except Diablo Smoke, Wizard Smoke and Ultra Wizard Smoke. So reluctantly I went with the Diablo Smoke this time. I was not expecting anything spectacular from Diablo since it didn’t seem to be very popular, being the one of the last I.O. products on the shelf.
Once I got to the house, I opened the box to investigate the Diablo Smoke. At first glance it looks like Wizard Smoke soaked in one of I.O.’s dark resins, as I like to call it… “Buttered Up”. When I opened the sealed bag and took a nice size pinch out… It reminded me a lot of a mix between Wizard Smoke and Black Widow… but with a spicey overtone. Black Widow is one of my favorite I.O. products due to the thick resinated smoke. Diablo Smoke stands inbetween Wizard Smoke and Black Widow as a nice compromise between the green and black. The Diablo Smoke was moist, spicey and smooth. Preferably smoked in a pipe or hooka due to the moistness of the resin, but not as saturated as the Black Widow. Also, the Diablo Smoke was more aromatic and spicey in comparison to the Black Widow. I would say the Green and Black mildly resinated spicey herbal-o like aroma is one of my favorite aromas of all I.O. products so far. If you like Wizard Smoke, Black Widow or Herbal O, your going to love Diablo Smoke.
It’s about time! I finally stopped messing around and got some Panama! Why did I wait so long my prescious red buds!??!?!?! This bud is in my opinion the BEST International Oddities offers! They are beautiful buds with red hairs, a VERY SMOOTH AND SWEET taste. Very nice, STRONG aroma that blew me away! I believe I have found what I will be smoking for a while. The buds are glissened and shiny, while the texture is still dry, Panama Buds will burn evenly in a paper as well. Perfect carrier for oils and resins. I will definately be keeping this product in my smoking arsenal. I give it 5 stars all the way around! There is NOTHING MISSING FROM THIS PRODUCT! If you are unsure of which product to order. This one will not let you down. Try it! It is the best herbal smoke product I have found so far. Sweet to the taste, smooth smoke and never lets you down!

Well, I started off only smoking these International Oddities Buds in a bowl or rolled up. Recently we got a hooka for Christmas and I have to tell you… Nothing compares to a resinous I.O. bud like Black Widow and Blueberry Buds in a hooka! A hooka causes the buds to burn at a very low temp, creating a smooth unburnt flavorful taste. What a difference it makes! Keep in mind, you can also buy hookas at International Oddities as well. Grab one with your next bud order, and try some of the thick sticky buds this time!
I have been curious about the A’HIA bud since I started trying the herbal buds. I finally got around to trying them out. The first thing I noticed was that these were really buds, not pressed herbs. The smoke was light and had a natural herb flavor. This particular product is not all buttered up like the rest of International Oddities herbal smoke. Leaving it with a fresh picked natural taste. I personally prefer the buttered up buds over this natural product. But I did find it to be a very relaxing evening. The A’HIA bud is a really good bud to mix with your other herbs. I recently got a hooka for christmas and find that mixing the A’HIA bud with some Black Widow makes an awesome blend, the Black Widow is full of black resin and is a slow burner, while the A’HIA bud is a fast burner… the blend seems to create a full balance and thicker smoke.
The A’HIA bud has a raw natural flavor, it is perfect for smokers who find the added resins and butters added to most herb products too much. If you like a light natural smoke… go with A’HIA bud but make sure you add a second choice with it since it mixes well with other International Oddities products… especially the more resinous ones.
This one is somewhere between Panama Red and Dro to me. It looks and feels a LOT like Panama Gold Buds, but the smell and taste are a little more mild in my opinion. Perfect for switch hitting between Dro and Panama Red. The smoke was VERY smooth, the smell and taste was taste sweet. The bud has many red hairs as well. I would say I prefer Panama Gold Buds, but… the bud is VERY compareable, and if you want a slightly milder taste and smell than Panama Buds, then this would be my next choice. It also mixes really well with Black Widow. It seems, I mix everything with Black Widow though. LOL
When we are busy blending our own blends, we rely on this blend to get us by… International Oddities – Black Widow. This bud is very moist in resin, VERY BUTTERED UP as we like to say. It is a smooth juicy smoke best enjoyed like high quality pipe tobacco.

Black Widow is perfect in a water pipe for a long lasting slow smooth smoke. Also try in a regular pipe or hooka. Not very friendly with papers due to the moist resin soaking the buds
When I ordered the Herbal O. I also added the Krypto Buds to my order. When I popped the top to my 1/2 oz tube. It also had a medium strength aroma. Not as strong as the Blueberry and stronger than the DRO BUDS. The buds were green and fresh. They broke up really well. Perfect for joints. I started with a joint. It burned really well. The taste was less fruity and a little less sweet than the Blueberry and Dro Buds I was already smoking. International Oddities has spent over 2 million dollars developing this product. I can tell, it is definately a designer bud and meant to satisfy the hardcore smokers.
Krypto Buds break up well and burn well. Feel free to roll one or pack any bowl. I also prefer to mix resins and oils with Krypto. It also blends well with your favorite smoke blend!
When I bought my Blueberry Buds, they sent me a sample of Herbal O. I tried it, liked it and ordered more to review. When I received the package, a few days later I broke out the 1 oz block of Herbal O and packed a bowl of Blueberry Buds then pinched a tiny flat piece of Herbal O and smeared it on top of the small bowl. When I fired it up, I tasted a very floral and familiar flavor. It took me back to the 60′s when there was a popular black tar opium being sold at the concerts. Now, I wasn’t alive in the 60′s but I was there! The flavor was so real.

The Herbal O is best smeared on top of a bowl, preferably in a water pipe, bong or hooka. If you take a little bit and roll it in the palms of your hands until you have a long thin snake… you can insert the snake into a paper rolled joint. My girlfriend likes to burn it as incense as well. It is priced well enough to let her have a huge chunk that will last all month and still have 2 months worth to toke on from a single ounce.
On my 2nd order I picked up some Blueberry Buds. This time instead of going to my local head shop (they were already sold out of Blueberry Buds). I decided to order online. And let me tell you one thing, they are quick shippers! Anyways, I was so excited to tear into my package and taste the Blueberry Buds! Once I popped the top off my tube, I was shocked! It did have a blueberry smell. The aroma was also a lot stronger than I expected after getting used to the mild aroma of DRO BUDS. Even though it made my mouth water in desire to taste the blueberry buds, I was skeptical that I could smoke much of it and not get a headache or something. The buds were slightly sticky and buttered up as we call it in the herbal smoke business. You could tell they were dipped or had some flavor applied to the buds. Time to smoke!
After sitting back with a bowl of Blueberry Buds for about 2-3 mins, I began to grin in delight. The smoke was nice and sweet and the blueberry flavor lasted for the whole smoke leaving a sweet flavor on my lips. Now, having DRO BUDS and Blueberry buds in my smoking arsenal, I realized how nice it was to switch which product I smoked during the day. Blueberry Buds were stronger in aroma than DRO BUDS. So, I would smoke a bowl of Blueberry in the morning and evenings for ultimate relaxation and DRO during the day for a light quick smoke or to mix with my other favorite smoke blends.
Blueberry also mixed VERY WELL with my favorite smoke blends, adding a kick and sweet taste!

Blueberry buds also does well in rolled papers, pipes, bongs and hookas. Has a medium burn rate, smooth smoke. May cause occasional slow burn issues in rolled papers when fresh. If you leave a bud out for a bit, it dries up more and can be rolled more efficiently.
This is the first product I tried from International Oddities. So here I was, holding a tube of Dro Buds and a Tube of Panama Buds in a local head shop. After evaluating each product using sight and smell. I had to decide… DRO BUDS IT IS!
At first glance, it has a kinda light brown color and comes in nugs. As soon as I got out of the shop… I packed a bowl in a new glass pipe and took a taste… Expecting the harsh repercussions of herbal smoke I was blown away… This was a very smooth and sweet tasting smoke. MAN HAS HERBAL SMOKE COME A LONG WAY! I was sooo happy that I found something I could pack a bowl and smoke anywhere. DRO BUDS has a mild aroma compared to the other herbal buds at International Oddities, and is VERY SMOOTH, SWEET and perfect all the way around!
This herbal smoke is perfect by itself or blended with your favorite smoke!
